ABOUT:

Cozy waterfront cottage on the Main Channel of Lake Norman. Enjoy the 6-mile view from the dock and boathouse, or unwind in the shaded backyard in a rocking chair, hammock or porch swing. Great for relaxing with family and friends. Fenced yard is perfect for the family dog. Wake up to the sunrise across the water while sipping your coffee on the screened-in porch.  
PLEASE NOTE:  This property is located in a family-friendly neighborhood and is only available to adults at least 30 years of age and their children and guests.  
NOTE TO THOSE WITH PET ALLERGIES:  This vacation property allows pets on occasion (dogs only and with owner approval).  
NO SMOKING indoors

AMENITIES:
​-Bedroom #1 has a queen bed for 2 adults and Fantastic morning view of the water and sunrise
-Bedroom #2 has a full-size bed that fits 2 adults and also has a great view of the water and sunrise
-Bedroom #3/Office has a double-size bunk bed that fits 2 adults on bottom and 2 children on top
-Fully-equipped open kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker (regular and keurig)
-Gas grill on site for grilling out
-Dine at the kitchen bar, dining table, porch table, or dockside table
-Large living area with big-screen satellite TV and DVD
​-Gated pier and boathouse includes standard size BOATSLIP
-Gated stairs into the water from pier and swim ladder on floating portion of dock
-Pots, pans, dishes, utensils and linens (sheets, bath towels, and washcloths) are provided.  Beach towels, etc must be provided by vacationer

-Central Air Conditioning & Heat

-While work is strongly discouraged at Traveller's Retreat, free wireless internet and a desk are provided.   Over-Winter Monthly guests only:  Optional fireplace gas logs are available for an extra charge equal to 50% of actual fuel used. A clothes washer/dryer is made available at no charge for special needs or for stays of 2 weeks or more upon request.

​ ACTIVITES AND ATTRACTIONS: Fishing, sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, and general relaxing on site. Restaurants nearby by land and water. Grocery, movie theatre, bowling, indoor go-cart racing, and shopping only minutes away. Boat and Jet-Ski rentals available nearby. (See "Things To Do" page)
